We would first of all like to thank all of our current
students and families for their support and allowing us to be involved
in their musical education. If you are a new student or considering
lessons with us, welcome! We hope that you will find playing
an instrument rewarding and that you will enjoy music for life.
Lesson Policy
Lessons are based on music training by ear. We do teach music
theory as far as properly naming notes, scales, and chords. We
DO NOT
teach the reading of sheet music; however, we do encourage students
to learn sight reading if they desire, as part of their musical
training.
We do understand that music is very different and personal to
each individual and we do try to accommodate all musical taste
and styles.
Lessons are paid for each month in advance and due at the first
of each month. With payment in full, each month you are guaranteed
your scheduled time slot for one lesson a week for a total of four
lessons per month. All lessons are private and 30 minutes in duration.
There are no refunds or changes in payment amount due to missed
days.
If payment amount is different due to holidays or any other
unforseen circumstance, you will be notified of the difference
in the payment
amount.
For the months that have five weeks or 5th week weekdays at the
end of the month, these are days off and there are no classes scheduled
on these days.
The monthly tuition rate is $65.00 per month,
and $20.00 per lesson for anyone that is interested in an additional
class or one single
lesson, and must be paid at time of that lesson.
Students are only entitled to one (1) make up class per month.
We CAN NOT continue carrying over 2 or 3 make up lessons each month
for students and then to have them not show up for a make up class
with out even a phone call to the store. All students will have
at chance to sign up for a make up class on the board in the lesson
room. Student or parent must call the store/teacher ASAP, to let
us know that the student will not make his/her scheduled class
time. If a student misses any number classes per month, the payment
of $65.00 is still due, in full at the first of each month.
